Cabinet Refacing from Rockler
Put On A Happy RefacePut On A Happy Reface
The PSA veneer makes refacing cabinets easy! (Note: you should first complete installation of end (panels). Start with the stiles (vertical surfaces). Cut slightly wider than stile (leaving an overlap), and line up edge with top of the stile. Peel off backing and press as you go. Trim off the excess veneer. Finish by using veneer smoothing blade for optimal adhesion. Repeat the procedure on the rails (horizontal surfaces). The book, 'Refacing Cabinets,' is a great reference for all your refacing questions.
