Nordic Oil Puts a lustrous finish on turnings. Specially formulated mix of pure oils, resins and driers produces a tough, durable finish on highly burnished surfaces such as turned bowls and vases. Non-toxic once dried. May be applied to surfaces that come in to contact with food. Water and abrasion resistant. May be applied with cloth or brush. Available in pint or quart size.
Rockler Shellac Kits Fresh shellac dries faster, permitting the proper application of many thin coats in a short time. It also ensures that you’ll get the rich, handsome finish you want for chairs, cabinets, musical instruments, and other fine projects. Because shellac is non-toxic, it’s an ideal choice for cradles and cribs! Each 2 oz. Rockler Shellac Kit contains 2 oz. of shellac 'flakes’’ and a 16 oz. container with markings for accurate measurement. To create your shellac, just add the amount of denatured alcohol required for the lb. cut you prefer (denatured alcohol available at most hardware stores or paint supplies). For example 2 oz of shellac to 4 oz. of alcohol will give you a 4 lb. cut, and 2 oz. of shellac to 8 oz. of alcohol will give you a 2 lb. cut (Depending on the temperature and denatured alcohol you use, allow up to 24 hours for the shellac to dissolve.)Also available in 8 oz. bulk sizes without mixing container.Kits are available in your choice of three shades: Orange, for a traditional 'amber' finish; Blonde, for a near-clear finish; and Garnet, for a more 'antique' look.

Butcher Block Oil Deeply penetrates and protects wood. Easy to apply- just wipe or brush on liberally, let penetrate for 5 minutes and wipe off excess. Available in pints.
Toymakers Finish Applies easily like an oil finish, yet looks like a varnish. Use on bare or stained wood surfaces.
General Finishes Exterior 450 Varnish Cleanup: Warm, soapy water.Dry Time: Ready to sand in 1 hour under ideal conditions (70°F, 70% humidity). Cooler temperatures and higher humidity will prolong drying time.Thinning: If necessary, thin with 10-20% water.Application: use a foam brush, paint pad applicator or spray gun.Can be sprayed through compressed air, HVLP, airless or C.A.S. units.Oil-based stains must be completey dry before using a water-based top coat. Wait a minimum of 48 hours before applying GF Exterior 450.
Minwaxreg FastDrying Polyurethane Instructions for use:Surface must be dry and free of old finishes in poor condition, paint, wax, grease, polish, dirt or other foreign matter. Sand to obtain a smooth uniform surface. Remove all dust with a cloth dampened with mineral spirits. Stir Minwax® Fast-Drying Polyurethane before and during use to eliminate settling on the bottom of the can. Stir in such a manner as to rotate the product from the bottom to the top of the can. NEVER SHAKE. Apply a THIN coat of Minwax® Fast-Drying Polyurethane using a high-quality natural or foam brush. Let dry 3-4 hours. Then lightly sand entire surface with fine sand-paper (220 grit) to ensure an even finish and proper adhesion. Remove all dust. Apply second coat. If third coat is desired, repeat step 5 before application.After final coat, allow 24 hours before light use.2-3 coats recommended; recoat after 4-6 hours.Apply with a natural bristle brush, foam brush, or lambswool applicator. For easy clean-up use mineral spirits or paint thinner.Clean up with mineral spirits or paint thinner.COVERAGE: Approximately 80 square feet per pint, or 125 square feet per quart.
Deftreg Waterborne Clear Wood Finish Lends a deep, rich look to interior wood, furniture, cabinetry, paneling, antiques, wicker and crafts. H Behlen Dry Shellac Flakes Shellac can be recoated within 15-20 minutes if wiped. Can be recoated within 2 hours if brushed.Dries to touch within minutes.Easy to repair.Environmentally safe.Compatible with most other finishes.Dissolves with 200 proof (less than 5% denaturants) anhydrous denatured alcohol.Note: Shellac that has not been dewaxed may present adhesion problems if topcoated with another type of finish.
Teak Oil May be applied over raw, stained, newly stripped, or previously oiled wood surfaces.Use a stiff brush, clean rag or fine, nylon mesh pad.Uniformly “flood” the entire surface.Wait 5-10 minutes. If dry spots occur, reapply to achieve uniform wetness.After 30 minutes set time, wipe and lightly buff with a clean cloth.After 24 hours lightly buff with a clean cloth, then buff with extra-fine steel wool to achieve a uniform sheen.
Cabot OilBased Polyurethane Interior Oil-Based Polyurethane is a traditional polyurethane that protects wood surfaces with a hard and durable finish. Boiled Linseed Oil Can cause spontaneous combustion — dispose of all rags properly.Rub Boiled Linseed Oil into the surface and allow 5 to 10 minutes to penetrate the wood.
